Until not that long ago, Insomniac Games’ headcount wasn’t particularly massive, though the success of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series has taken the developer to a different level over the last few years. As of 2021, the developer had over 400 employees, and by now, it seems that number has swelled even further.

As spotted by a Reddit user, according to the LinkedIn page of Insomniac Games, the company currently employs 522 people, a significant increase from the aforementioned number. While the employee count on LinkedIn might not necessarily be a hundred percent accurate, it does clearly point to significant growth for the studio.

Given how many large-scale projects it currently has in the works, that doesn’t come as a huge surprise. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is is due out this Fall, and according to Venom actor Tony Todd, is targeting a September release. Meanwhile, Marvel’s Wolverine is also in development, and according to leaks, is targeting a Fall 2024 launch. Multiple job ads have also indicated that Insomniac Games is also working on an unannounced multiplayer title.
