EA Sports WRC was officially unveiled earlier this month, and with the game now out in just a few weeks, EA Sports and developer Codemasters have revealed a host of new details on what players can expect with an extensive, new gameplay overview trailer.

EA Sports WRC will boast over 200 rally stages across 17 different locations, with developer Codemasters promising “greater realism, fidelity, and detail than ever before”, while the game will also feature the biggest rally stages Codemasters has ever made for a game, to the point where the longest ones will span over 30 kilometers.

Codemasters and EA Sports are also touting the “most realistic” locations ever built by the former. All are replicas of actual, real-world roads, which players will be able to drive on in Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring, with each season bringing its own unique challenges for players to contend with.

When it comes to the vehicles, EA Sports WRC will launch with over 80 cars in its roster spanning various different eras of rally racing, spanning 18 different car classes. That will include the 2023 season’s Rally1 hybrid cars, which will come with their own unique mechanics for charging the battery, and managing your power to hit greater speeds.

The game also boasts a new handling system, dubbed the Dynamic Handling System, which is described as “the most authentic and dynamic handling model” ever developed by Codemasters. Players can expect various improvements, including force feedback, improved tarmac handling, drivetrain inertia, aerodynamic simulations, progressive breaking, and more.

Beyond that, EA Sports WRC will also feature a suite of tools and options, allowing you to toggle a variety of different assists and tailor the experience to match your skill level. The gameplay overview trailer also goes into detail on the rally racing sim’s audio design, its simplified pace notes, and more. Watch it below for more details.

EA Sports WRC is due out on November 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
