Borderlands 3 saw a lengthy, meaty gameplay reveal yesterday, revealing much about the game, its nature, and its various new addition to the series’ winning formula. From its several hours of gameplay footage, we were able to glean many new things being added to loot and combat, while we also learned about the lack of microtransactions and its campaign length.

Now, we also know what performance and resolution levels the game will be targeting on more powerful hardware- or the Xbox One X, at the very least. Speaking to Windows Central, Gearbox Software’s producer Chris Brock revealed that the developers are targeting 60 frames per second on the Xbox One X (though that figure will likely remain at 30 on the base Xbox One), while 4K is also a likelihood, which means that Borderlands 3 might end up offering players the option to switch between performance and resolution prioritization as so many games do.

Of course, given that the game’s a few months away from its release, there’s also the chance that none of that might happen- or both those things could. We also don’t know whether this applies to the PS4 Pro as well, given that Brock was asked and as such spoke specifically about the Xbox One X- but it very well might.

We’ll find out when Borderlands 3 launches on September 13 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
