Borderlands 3

While it’s easy to get caught up in all the fun aspects of games, like gameplay, post-launch support and all the other stuff that’s easily visible, it can be easy to forget that there’s real flesh and blood people behind the games we consume. Such is the case of Borderlands 3, a project that had a particularly long development cycle. Today, the developers released a video you can tell is from the heart.

Borderlands 3 was a long time in the making, and as you can see below, those involved in it took the whole thing to heart. The video goes through several key members of the development team as they talk about their roles and what it meant to them, ending with a big thank you to all of us who love the series and are eager to get our hands on a copy when it comes out September 13th. A nice gesture, so hopefully its appreciated by those who watched it; I know I did.

Borderlands 3 releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For 15 key things to know about the game, we got you covered through here. And don’t forget to look out for the PC release of Borderlands 2 VR coming this fall.
